With over 25,000 instruments coming through our door we can offer you experience and expertise in all facets of stringed instrument repair, from the most basic to highly specialized. We strive to exceed your expectations, while providing a relaxed atmosphere ensuring a stress-free experience, knowing your beloved instrument is in good hands.
Bio!
Jarin, a certified guitar technician and builder with over 25 years of experience, has turned a passion for all music into Calgarys top guitar repair shop. He honed his skills under the guidance of a master builder while working as a musician before establishing the Guitar Operating Room in 2005. He continues to honour the craft of luthrie by continuing to advance his skills while teaching through apprenticeships. When not in the shop, you can find him making music with friends or spending time with the foster animals that he and his wife welcome into their home.
Jarin is a certified technician for both Fender and Taylor guitars and has served as the in-house guitar tech for the Calgary Folk Festival for over 15 years.

These fellas mean business all the time. They fix all those other things in life.
We invite you to stop in to meet Jack and Juno, the shop pups, while we give your instrument a free assessment. No appointment is needed but Jack has requested you bring treats.
As a member of the community we refurbish and donate guitars to local charities, as well as give a portion of profit to local animal rescues.
